Which taxes apply?
UK VAT rates are 20%, 5% and 0% according to the supply. Exempt supplies and zero-rated supplies have different meanings. Only charge VAT when registered and include your VAT registration number on a VAT invoice. The editor starts at 0%. Choose the verified rate for each line. Quotisa does not determine registration obligations or submit VAT returns.
Does the PDF replace a required invoicing system?
Include a unique invoice number, business and customer names and addresses, issue and supply dates, descriptions, amounts and total owed. Company and VAT details depend on the business and transaction; check GOV.UK for the full requirements. Only VAT-registered businesses issue VAT invoices. Include the registration number and show the VAT information required for the supply. Quotisa generates a local PDF and does not file returns or connect to an electronic invoicing network.
