Confirm approved work, parts availability and expected turnaround.
Use one browser for each numbering sequence. A PDF export cannot maintain a sequence across several devices.
Questions before you send
How should I price this job?
Measure the actual quantities and enter your own costs and margin. Prices start blank so you can prepare a proposal for the agreed scope.
Which units should I use?
Use an hour, item, area or clearly defined fixed-price service as appropriate. Explain what each quantity covers so the client can check the amount.
Which taxes apply?
GST treatment depends on classification, location, registration and the transaction. Verify current CBIC/GST information rather than applying a universal rate. The quotation starts at 0%; enter a verified commercial rate and describe any additional components separately.
Does the PDF replace a required invoicing system?
E-invoicing applicability depends on the notified turnover threshold and transaction type. The authorized IRP guidance includes the ₹5 crore threshold applicable from August 2023. Current reporting deadlines and exceptions must also be checked with GSTN. Quotisa generates quotations and pro formas, without GST tax-invoice issuance. It does not obtain an IRN, create a signed QR code, submit to an IRP or file GST returns. Use the appropriate invoicing system even where e-invoicing does not apply.
